What will you do?
- Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
- Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs; gifted and talented; EAL; disabilities; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them
- Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- To lead on the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking and assessment policies and teaching and learning strategies, that are innovative, will motivate students to learn and raise achievement across the subject area.
- Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate
- Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy including the correct use of spoken English (whatever your specialist subject)

What are we looking for?
- QTS qualified
- Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
- Proven highly successful teaching experience in a specific phase
- Significant teaching experience in one or more good or outstanding schools – demonstrably delivering high standards
- Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
