Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?
• Deliver high-quality Design and Technology teaching that meets the needs of all learners, ensuring strong progress, well-planned lessons and effective use of assessment.
• Create a safe, respectful and purposeful learning environment that upholds the ethos of Avanti Schools Trust and promotes excellent behaviour, engagement and relationships.
• Take responsibility for the planning, preparation and evaluation of lessons, materials and assessments, using data to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, governors and external partners to support pupils’ wellbeing, achievement and broader school life.
• Engage fully in professional development, contribute to whole-school responsibilities, and uphold safeguarding, statutory requirements and high standards of conduct.

What are we looking for?
• Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
• QTS qualified
• Clear vision and understanding of how to implement and sustain a high quality teaching and learning
• Excellent skills in the use and application of technology
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
