Interviews for this position will take place on 24th and 25th September 2024 ABOUT THE ROLE We here at Avanti are seeking to reimagine the purpose of education. Our purpose is sim ...
At Avanti Gardens, our three core pillars are visible in all we do: Educational Excellence – Character Development – Spiritual insight.
The staff team and I put children at the centre of everything: all decision making. Our mission is to prepare pupils to thrive beyond primary school. I believe a strong partnership between parents/carers, pupils and staff are paramount to an excellent education. We strive to work closely with the community and create a school that we are all proud to be part of.
The Avanti Gardens curriculum follows the National Curriculum, whilst being underpinned by the Avanti Way. Our curriculum is wide, rigorous and unique, taking full advantage our staff’s expertise and amazing on-site facilities. We support our children to become fluent readers, writers and mathematicians, thus ensuring that every child can engage in and enjoy the richness of our wider curriculum. We value children’s wellbeing as fundamental in their development – this is reflected in our timetabled yoga sessions each week for all pupils.
Avanti exists to help each person become a well-rounded human being through intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, and so make the world a better place.
Avanti Schools support each person’s life journey along three parallel paths: Educational excellence; Character formation; and Spiritual insight.
Avanti’s unique ethos places a key emphasis on each individual’s wellbeing and good mental health. Children with higher levels of emotional, behavioural, social, and school wellbeing, on average, have higher levels of academic achievement and are more engaged in the school community. All our schools share a dedicated approach to wellbeing, from providing yoga and mindfulness sessions, sports and exercise, charity work, and working with parents and carers as co-educators.
